With apologies to Rod Serling.
You’re traveling through another term, a term not only of sight and sound but of mind; journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That’s the signpost up ahead – your next stop, the Final Exam Zone.
So here you are…not all assignments have been completed or submitted to your instructor. Your final exam or final project is worth 30% of your overall grade. You think that even if you aced the final exam or earned a 100% on the project, your final grade is still far below your expectations.
If time management is an art, you are still drawing with crayons. You are afraid to approach your instructor because he or she has mentioned to you several times about your missing assignments. Give up? No…talk with your instructor! Faculty know that there are many reasons students fall behind, but unless there is communication between you and your instructors, they may just think that you don’t care. And if you don’t care why should they? When you take ownership of your education faculty always respond in a positive manner.
Find out if you can submit late assignments; even if you receive a lower grade. A C is still far better than an F. -dj
